Here’s some miscellaneous art-related stuff that doesn’t belong in the archives, but is interesting nonetheless (click images for full size). It includes fan art, guest strips, and just some stuff that I drew here and there.

To start off, this is the first (and as far as I know, only) piece of Mullein Fields fanart anyone ever sent me, from way back in 2004. And it still kicks ass. Unfortunately I don’t know the artist’s name, but he has two supercool deviantART accounts here and here.

In 2006, the inimitable Miguel Estrugo and I participated in an April Fools Switcheroo, where he drew my strip and I drew his. This is Miguel’s interpretation of my strip:

Here’s an experiment with watercolors, featuring Maureen and a poorly packaged stereo. Now you know why the strip is always in monochrome:
